The difference between gas phase glue and ordinary silica gel
Dec 01, 2018

Ordinary silica gel will appear white when stretched, and the degree of stretch is low, while the gas phase glue will not appear white when stretched, and the stretchability can reach about 500%. Silica obtained by burning silicon tetrachloride and air has a fineness of more than 1000 mesh. The precipitation method is to precipitate silica by adding sulfuric acid to sodium silicate. The fineness is only 300-400 mesh, so the price of the fumed silica gel is also significantly higher than that of the ordinary silica gel.
