What is high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber
Jul 06, 2018

High temperature vulcanized Silicone rubber refers to the process of Polysiloxane becoming elastomer through High-temperature (110-170 ℃) vulcanization molding.

It is mainly based on the high molecular weight of poly methyl vinyl siloxane for Living gum, mixed with reinforcing filler, vulcanizing agent, under the heating pressure vulcanization into elastomer. Silicone rubber reinforcement is mainly various types of white carbon black, can make the strength of vulcanized rubber increased dozens of times times. Sometimes in order to reduce costs or improve the performance of rubber and vulcanized rubber to give a variety of special properties, but also add a variety of additives. Vulcanizing Agent is a variety of organic peroxide or additive reaction catalysts.
